Hall to a Victoria law firm estimating value as $12,000.00 "at date of sale".  He also estimated that 3,000,000 B.F. of timber remained in 1944/45.  Keith Wilson stated in August, 1944 "The property has in general been logged off".  S.S. Lands only had two other, lower offers, in spite of Wilson spending $4.00 of Iwasaki's for advertising.
