F.M. Phillips

Teak cross on the site of the Phillips Cabin, Cusheon Lake Road. This cross was erected in 1896 for Jo, a Skye terrier and the mascot of the HMS Acorn. The crew of the HMS Acorn were using the cabin at this time and Jo was accidentally killed. The distraught crew erected this cross to mark his grave.
