The following is taken from a list published in the Daily British Colonist, 1886. This was the only year that the paper undertook to publish such a list. The names have been arranged here alphabetically, first by the groom’s surname and then by the brides’ surname, for ease of reference.
Salt Spring Island Archives has included the 1886 Victoria Marriages as it was common for many of the island residents to travel to Victoria for marriage.
