No. 10 Barnfield Terrace Liskeard - a very large house terminating the end of the terrace of smaller houses (legend credits it has being the 1st house in Liskeard to have a built-in bath and it was a majestic creation!) It was built for and occupied by John Charles Lang prior to his building his 2nd home "Fieldhead" at West Looe - John Sansom, my predecessor in the Liskeard architectural practice ( which I inherited in 1950) was architect for both houses and worked closely with both Langs on many projects. Both houses still exist; No.10 is now an Old peoples Care Home and Fieldhead is a Hotel.
