October 1901
"The agricultural and Fruit Show took place at the new Agricultural Hall, Ganges Harbour, on Wednesday, September 25th. Unfortunately, it was a wet day, which kept back many visitors. However, on the whole, it was a very good show, the display of apples being particularly good. Some 15 horses and 30 head of cattle, besides sheep and pigs, occupied the stalls and pens, and the poultry coops contained some good specimens of poultry."
Rev. Wilson
