The Bulman Allison Sawmill (later : Bulman Lumber Company)was established at Cusheon Cove on Salt Spring Island between the years 1906 and 1908. The largest mill to operate on the Gulf Islands, it was plagued with bad luck culminating in the collapse of its wharf in the late twenties.
