Ewen Robert McLennanMcLennan, Robert Ewen 1879-1901

Ewen Robert McLennan was the first person buried in the Burgoyne Bay Methodist Churchyard. The eldest son of Alexander and Elizabeth McLennan, Glenshiel Farm, Beaver Point, he died of blood poisoning at the age of 21 years. The red granite monument over his grave was brought from Scotland, around the Horn by sailing ship
