Mrs Thomas, (nee, Jane Manson)
Jane Manson was not only an early member of the Burgoyne Bay Methodist Church, she was also a hard working woman who was involved in many church functions. Born in the Orkney Islands, Jane married Thomas Mouat there after his first wife died, leaving an infant son, Thomas, who was brought to Canada, along with his maternal grandmother, when the family emigrated. |
