Diary of Rev Ebenezer Robson

A page from a diary kept by Reverend Ebenezer Robson. This page describes his arrival in the channel off Beaver Point on Salt Spring, being met by Mr Ruckle’s man and rowed to Ruckle Farm where he was served tea by the Ruckle family. After tea, Mr and Mrs Ruckle, their son and the man, rowed around to Fulford Harbour and walked to Mr Arthur Robinson’s. He addressed the Blue Ribbon meeting in the evening where he was glad to say that several ‘took the pledge’, and slept at Robinson’s.Diary of Rev Ebenezer Robson
