Soul catcher used by the shaman when person got sick. The shamen believed people had five souls and when ill, they had lost one. They would pretend they are paddling, they would find a soul, they would put it in this hollow device and they would return to the sick person, lay it on the sick person’s chest and blow on it to make the person well, they would now have their soul back. |
