Mrs (Patterson) Lee’s brother. Mrs Ed Lee was the widow Patterson before coming to Salt Spring to care for Ed Lee’s young family after the death of the first Mrs Lee.

Quarry and Rock Crusher (1930s) (H Newman or Phyllis Beech)

A rock crusher was established near the junction of Cusheon Lake Road and Fulford-Ganges Road to turn out the aggregate needed for road surfacing. Hence the title ‘Rock Crusher Corner’, which has described the place ever since.
