Quarry and Rock Crusher (1930s) (H Newman or Phyllis Beech)
A rock crusher was established near the junction of Cusheon Lake Road and Fulford-Ganges Road to turn out the aggregate needed for road surfacing. Hence the title ‘Rock Crusher Corner’, which has described the place ever since.
